Accepted when you submit your tutor profile
Ruvimo Tutor Portal Terms
These Terms cover your tutor application at tutor.ruvimo.com, your tutor account, and the Ruvimo tools made available to you for applications, onboarding and teaching support, together called the Tutor Portal.
They are between you and Ruvimo Learning Private Limited if you apply from India, or Ruvimo Learning Inc., 5900 Balcones Drive, Austin, Texas 78731, United States, if you apply from another country. The applicable company is called Ruvimo, we or us below.
1. Acceptance and scope
You accept these Terms by selecting the acceptance checkbox when submitting your tutor profile. Creating or saving a draft profile does not itself accept them. They continue to govern your Tutor Portal use after selection.
Application submission is not acceptance of a tutoring engagement or a finalized rate. If selected, you will separately accept the Tutor Services Agreement and your confirmed payment terms at rate finalization, before teaching begins. That Agreement takes priority for your engagement, pay, teaching obligations and engagement-related disputes.
The general website Terms cover browsing www.ruvimo.com and its public resources. Family purchase, subscription and cancellation terms do not apply to your tutor account.
2. Your account and application
You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter into these Terms. Use your own identity and accurate contact, qualification, experience and availability details. Keep them current, including your country of residence and work location.
Keep sign-in codes private. Do not share your account or allow another person to submit assessments or act as you. Report suspected unauthorized access promptly.
We may ask for identity or qualification evidence and conduct relevant verification. Any additional authorization required for a particular check will be requested separately. Access or a profile status does not mean every credential has been independently verified.
We may review, shortlist, request further information, decline or remove an application based on suitability, demand, accuracy, reliability or safety. A profile, assessment, approval or Portal account does not guarantee selection, students or income. Any rate estimate is indicative until separately confirmed and accepted. An application or selection assessment is not paid work unless payment is expressly offered for it.
3. Appropriate use
Use the Tutor Portal only for its intended Ruvimo activities. Do not:
- Harass others, share unlawful content or behave in a way that endangers a child.
- Impersonate someone, submit false credentials, falsify records or manipulate an assessment.
- Share logins, bypass access controls, upload malicious software or interfere with the service.
- Scrape profiles, harvest contact details, send unsolicited promotions or recruit through the Portal without authorization.
- Copy or disclose non-public student, applicant, tutor or business information outside your authorized work.
- Use access to divert Ruvimo families, solicit private payments or arrange unapproved student contact.
These restrictions do not prevent authorized exports, accessibility tools or uses protected by law. Report safety concerns or suspected misuse using the contact options below.
4. Uploads and profile use
Upload only material you own, have permission to share or may otherwise lawfully use. Application photos and videos must accurately represent you and your teaching. Do not include identifiable children, recordings of real students, confidential school records or another person's private information in application samples.
You retain ownership of your original submissions. You give Ruvimo and service providers acting for us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free permission to store, process, format and display them for your application, assessment, matching and Tutor Portal operation.
We may publish your approved profile content, including your photo, bio and introduction video, on Ruvimo's website and in tutor listings, social media and promotional materials. This permission is limited to content intended for your public profile; it does not make identity documents, payment details, private assessments or student records public. Formatting and editing must not materially misrepresent you.
You may withdraw public-profile permission through your Ruvimo contact or tutorhiring@ruvimo.com. We will stop new promotional use and remove the content from public pages we control, subject to applicable legal requirements. We cannot guarantee recall of previously distributed materials or removal of copies held by others. Withdrawal may limit profile visibility and matching opportunities, but does not cancel earned pay.
Do not reproduce or sell Ruvimo's platform, branding, assessment materials or internal resources outside the permission given for your Ruvimo activities. Tell us if you believe an upload infringes someone's rights; we may restrict or remove it while reviewing the issue.
5. Application permissions and privacy
You authorize recording and transcription of application interviews and teaching assessments, and AI-assisted transcription, summaries and assessment of your submitted recordings and written answers for application review and matching. Additional permissions required for a particular process will be requested separately.
Our Tutor and Applicant Privacy Notice explains information handling, AI-assisted review, sharing, international access, retention and your choices. It also covers information saved while you build a draft profile, before submission. It is a notice, not another agreement to sign.
6. Tools and optional permissions
These Terms do not override a communication opt-out or provide blanket permission for marketing messages or optional tracking. Additional permissions are collected where required.
Use only approved tools for Ruvimo student information. Do not upload private application, student or Ruvimo information to unapproved AI tools or other services. If AI assistance is allowed for a submission, you remain responsible for its accuracy and must follow the assessment's disclosure and independent-work requirements.
Independent third-party sites and tools have their own terms and privacy practices. A link is not a guarantee of their content. This does not remove Ruvimo's responsibilities for providers operating on our behalf.
7. Access and responsibility
We may change Portal features, correct errors, remove inappropriate material or restrict access for misuse, inaccurate information, safety concerns, legal requirements or application decisions. Where practicable, we will explain a restriction and how to raise a concern. Urgent protective action may be taken immediately.
We aim to provide reliable access but do not guarantee that the Portal will always be available or error-free. Contact us if a technical problem prevents an application step or agreed work. An outage or account restriction does not by itself cancel payment already earned under a Tutor Services Agreement.
For claims arising solely from Portal use outside a Tutor Services Agreement, Ruvimo is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses to the extent permitted by law. This does not exclude fraud, willful misconduct or liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. Engagement claims remain governed by the Tutor Services Agreement and applicable law.
You may withdraw your application or request account closure by contacting us. Ending Portal access does not itself settle an active engagement or remove accrued obligations. Confidentiality and valid content permissions continue within their stated scope.
8. Changes and contact
We will identify each version and its effective date, notify you of material changes, and obtain renewed acceptance where required. Changes do not retrospectively alter accrued rights or amend confirmed rates or a Tutor Services Agreement. Acceptance of one version does not mean acceptance of every earlier or future version.
Texas law governs, subject to applicable federal law and mandatory protections where you work or reside. Raise concerns with us first where appropriate; unresolved disputes may be brought in a competent court permitted by applicable law. Nothing here prevents urgent protective action or a report to the authorities.
If a provision cannot lawfully be enforced, the rest continues to apply. Delayed enforcement does not waive a right.
For application, account, privacy, safety or content concerns, use your Ruvimo contact or email tutorhiring@ruvimo.com. You may also contact support@ruvimo.com. A Portal account is not required to contact us.
